Studies Show What Happens To Your Heart When You Go Vegan Or Vegetarian

Nutrition is essential for our health, but the sad fact is that we know little about healthy foods and diets.

Healthy foods can help us optimize overall health and treat various health problems. Yet, we are manipulated by large food corporations on a daily basis when it comes to this issue.

Recently, their fraud was exposed and the world was told that modern diets are highly detrimental to our health and mainstream media takes part in this.

Apparently, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) manipulates with science and media, and the investigation conducted by the FOIA just confirmed this.  They found that we were entirely misguided about nutrition, and fortunately, people are becoming increasingly aware of this.

One of the biggest factors is the mass meat consumption. Scientists have found that diets free of meat provide amazing health benefits, and the plant-based ones lower the risk of various chronic illnesses.

Many people disagree with this and claim that people have been meat-eaters for millennia, which is not completely true. Our ancestors ate mostly plants, and our digestive systems are not designed to consume meat on a daily basis.

According to the anthropologist Katherine Milton:

“Some of our ancestors had different yet successful diets. According to her many hunter-gatherer societies gained the biggest part of their dietary energy from plants, and others obtained it from “wild animal fat and protein.

This fact does not imply that this is the ideal diet for modern humans, nor does it imply that modern humans have genetic adaptations to such diets”.

The article for the “Scientific American”, titled “Human Ancestors Were Nearly All Vegetarians” by Rob Dunn, investigates this from an evolutionary point of view, and he claims that we evolved to perform best while avoiding meat, and meat should be a ‘rare treat’ only.

Vegetarian and vegan diets provide amazing benefits, including lowered heart disease risks.

Dr. Joanne Kong explains:

“Our standard American diet, also known as SAD, has put our country at the top of the list in the world for obesity, which increases the risk for serious health problems.

Overwhelming scientific evidence links the consumption of meat and meat products to numerous diseases. The World Health Organization (WHO) now places red and processed meat at the same danger level as cigarettes and asbestos. Meat is the new tobacco.”

The American Dietetic Association confirmed these facts, and vegetarian or total vegan diets prevent and treat many diseases, like diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.

This made the President of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Kim A. Williams, adopt a vegan diet, and advise patients to do the same in order to treat hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and high cholesterol.

He maintains that in this way, one can reduce the risk of death from heart disease, diabetes, and kidney problems.

Moreover, Dr. Ellsworth Wareham, a heart surgeon, suggests the same:

“Veganism is a very fine form of nutrition. It’s a little extreme to tell a person who is using flesh foods that you’re going to take everything entirely away from them.

When I was in practice in medicine, I would tell the patients that the vegetable-based diet was the healthy way to go, and to keep away from the animal products as much as possible.

People are very sensitive about what they eat. You can talk to people about exercising relaxation, good mental attitude and they will accept that.

But you talk to them about what they are eating and people are very sensitive about that. If an individual is willing to listen, I will try to explain to them on a scientific basis of how I think it’s better for them.”

Nowadays, veganism is spreading fast, and there are currently over 542,000 people following a vegan diet in Britain only.

Furthermore, the findings of the study conducted by the doctors Thomas Campbell and T Colin Campbell “The China Study”, found a direct link between nutrition and cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.

Carl Sagan said:

“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth.

The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.”

There is no need for complete avoidance of meat, but its restricted consumption is a highly healthy option. Our health is our own responsibility, so start taking care of it as much as possible, in order to optimize health and ensure your well-being.
